Laura has been a Registered Migration Agent since early 2015, after completing her Graduated Certificate in Australian Migration Law And Practice in late 2014. She worked for a highly reputable migration agency in Melbourne for 4 years and is now the Founder of Moving Time Migration Services.
Previously, Laura worked in the training and educational sector, assisting in the organisation of internships for high school students funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research.
In Italy, she earned a Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. Her thesis on "Australitalian" was published as an article in "Il Globo", newspaper of the Italian community in Melbourne.
Laura always had a strong bond with Australia, growing up with her family’s stories of the land down under. After visiting Australia in 2004 to explore her Australian background, Laura moved to Melbourne in 2012 and attended Monash University, where she completed courses in Community and Mental Health Interpreting, before dedicating herself to migration assistance.
" The most exciting part of my work is engaging with clients of different cultures and making their down under dreams come true. Coming from an Italo-Australian migrant family, I put myself into the applicants’ shoes and make their journeys a personal matter. It is always an emotion when it comes to communicate the outcome of their applications."
Founded in 1976, A.N.E.A. is a non-profit organisation initially born to support Italian migrants returning to their home country. It further developed to also provide for migrants’ settlement in a foreign country. In 2012 a new section was added “Second generation” to encourage youth participation.
