This visa allows you to live and work temporarily in Australia.

You need to be sponsored by your employer to fill a genuine position when no Australians are available.

Depending on your occupation and relevant occupation list, you can be granted a TSS 482 visa for up to 4 years and have the possibility of Permanent Residence after 2 years.

Eligibility requirements such as qualification and/or experience are based on your nominated occupation.

This visa lets you live and work permanently in Australia.

You need to be nominated by your employer.

There are 3 different streams: 

TRT Temporary Resident Transition - after 2 years on sc482 visa with the same employer

DE Direct Entry - direct access with skilled experience 

LA Labour Agreement - if your employer is party to a labour agreement.

This permanent visa is similar to the sc186, but the position must be located in regional Australia. 

This visa is now open to transitional 457/482 visa holders only. 

This is one of the new temporary regional visas and allows a regional employer to nominate you in one of the eligible occupations.

A suitable skills assessment and at least 3 years of relevant work experience are the main requirements, along with Competent English knowledge.

You can access the permanent stage (Skilled Regional sc191 visa) after 3 years, provided the requirements are met.
